Welcome to Highland PTO’s new blog!

We hope this will help us to communicate better with all of you. Check out the links on the right side of the blog to help you quickly navigate through the information. You will also find an updated calendar there with important dates you can schedule in now like the Spring Carnival, PTO meetings and Bingo Nights. Thanks for taking the time to be involved, and we hope you will check back often. Together we will be able to make a difference in our children’s educations.

Sincerely,

Highland PTO

Donations

We are now looking for prizes to be donated for our upcoming Bingo Night on Thursday, November 5. We sure appreciate all those who can help make this a fun event for all the kids.

We are ALWAYS more than happy to accept money donations. Please make checks out to Highland PTO and turn them in to a PTO officer or in the office. If you would like to donate to a specific purpose or need a receipt, please indicate that on a note with the check.

Box Tops

Cut the Box Tops off of products that you find in your pantry, send them into school with your child, and help us earn lots of free money. Each Box Top is worth 10¢ and that adds up fast. Fliers are available in the office for students to bring home to put their Box Tops on. Please paste 20 Box Tops onto the sheet and send it in with your child. Remember to check the expiration dates and only put on 20 per sheet. Sending your Box Tops in this way saves Highland’s Box Tops coordinator hours of time.

You can also visit http://www.boxtops4education.com and enter to win 500,000 boxtops. This website has coupons if you are interested, and you can check Highland’s progress throughout the year.

Register your credit cards at www.escrip.com to Highland Elementary and qualifying purchases will automatically earn money for Highland.
